We're seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to provide specialist financial accounting expertise and support the delivery of robust financial governance, compliance and reporting across the organisation. The opportunity to influence financial governance and reporting outcomes across a diverse organisation The Opportunity As the Senior Financial Accountant, you will provide expert technical advice and support across financial accounting, compliance and reporting functions. Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring Parks Victoria meets its statutory, corporate and operational obligations under the Financial Management Act 1994 and applicable accounting standards. You will lead key financial reporting activities, including month-end and year-end processes, preparation of financial statements, audit support, reconciliations and compliance reporting. As a senior subject matter expert, you'll also provide guidance on complex accounting issues, identify opportunities for process improvement and help strengthen financial governance practices across the organisation.
