Being 2IC to the Financial Controller the Accountant will be a key member of a highly dynamic & vibrant finance team. The role will be responsible for most material financial statement areas of the business as well as drive the month end close process. These elements include but are not limited to Payroll & Leave, P & L Review and support and guidance for more junior team members of the finance team. The Accountant will also play an active role in assisting the Financial Controller to lead key projects. Whilst the role will initially not have formal direct reports, opportunity to do so in the future is highly likely with support for growth provided. Outside of the finance team the role will have the opportunity to interact with other stakeholders such as heads of departments, banks & auditors. Responsibilities & Requirements Oversee the month end close process.
