About the role: We are looking for an experienced Lead SAP S/4HANA Finance Consultant to join our SAP implementation team. The person in this role will lead Finance workstreams in S/4HANA implementation programmes for various customers across different industries. This is a senior, customer-facing consulting role requiring strong SAP S/4HANA Finance expertise, proven implementation experience, architectural thinking, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, sustainable SAP solutions. Key responsibilities: Lead SAP FI/S/4HANA Finance implementation activities across project phases, from design and configuration to testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare. Gather and analyze business requirements, run client workshops, and translate Finance processes into practical SAP solution designs. Configure and support key Finance areas such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Cash Management, and integration with Controlling. Prepare functional specifications, support developments, and ensure alignment with standard SAP processes and clean-core principles. Coordinate with integration, migration, development, reporting, and testing teams to ensure end-to-end Finance solution quality. Support data migration, testing, issue resolution, user acceptance testing, and business readiness activities. Act as a trusted Finance consultant for client stakeholders, providing guidance, managing expectations, and escalating risks where needed. Occasionally, contribute to presales and business development activities by supporting RFP/RFI responses, solution presentations, client workshops, and opportunity qualification for the Finance and Controlling stream. Qualifications & experience: Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance and ideally Controlling. Participation in at least 3 full-cycle SAP implementation projects , including at least 2 in a lead role .
