Title: Lead Accountant The Programme and Project Partners (PPP) model was mobilised in 2019 with the purpose of transforming major project delivery at the Sellafield nuclear site. We can only consider applicants with the right to live and work in the United Kingdom Job Title: Lead Accountant (Project Accounting) Based in Leatherhead Responsible For: Working within the KBR Cost & Profit Team, and closely with the client and wider project team. Responsible for performing advanced and moderately complex accounting activities related to the maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger and the resultant managerial reports; financial statements; and client invoice, requiring a high degree of accuracy. Responsible for reconciling and analysis of complex balance sheet accounts. Attempts to maximise value through an understanding of operational costs, expenses and the impact of decisions on the bottom line. Key Accountabilities: To carry out month end activities and assist to close out the period. This will include a detailed review of all costs for onward billing to the client Work closely with the various project teams to produce an accurate forecast on the project Review timesheet bookings to ensure accuracy of hours and codes Understand project policies and procedures pertaining to expenses and assist with any expense policy updates To assist in producing monthly Application for Payment (AFP) To raise monthly invoice to client Assist with monthly client Cost Assurance To help facilitate monthly financial reviews with operations.
