Lead the controllership operations behind JLL's Real Estate Management Services (REMS) business across multiple EMEA countries. You'll manage a team of Senior Associates and Interns, own the financial close, and make sure reporting and compliance meet the highest standards. You'll combine hands-on technical accounting with strategic oversight, and you'll be the link between day-to-day controllership and senior finance leadership. You'll also shape how the function works, driving simplification, standardization and automation across countries. What You'll Do Lead, coach and develop a team of Controllership Senior Associates and Interns, and build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Plan workload and team capacity so reporting deadlines and business needs are consistently met. Run performance reviews and career development conversations that help your people grow. Own the monthly and year-end close across multiple countries, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timeliness. Ensure compliance with US GAAP, JLL accounting policies and Local GAAP, and escalate complex technical accounting issues to senior management with clear recommendations. Oversee statutory reporting, work with external auditors for smooth audits, and make sure tax obligations are met with third-party tax advisors. Identify and lead process improvement, automation and standardization initiatives, and drive adoption of new tools and methodologies. Document processes and build training materials so knowledge scales across the team. Act as a trusted partner to business units and communicate results, risks and recommendations to senior management. You'll also work with corporate finance, audit teams, tax advisors and outsourced service providers on cross-functional projects.
