Aprio is a progressive, fast-growing firm seeking a Senior Accounting Associate to join this dynamic team. Responsibilities: Serve as a key member of the Client Accounting & Advisory Services team, providing accounting, financial reporting, and advisory support to restaurant groups, franchise operators, emerging concepts, and hospitality organizations. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements at the location and consolidated levels, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery while helping highlight key performance drivers to clients. Support month-end and year-end close, including key reconciliations, journal entries, variance analysis, and location-level and consolidated reporting. Serve as a day-to-day contact for assigned clients, providing timely communication and helping explain financial results and practical recommendations. Collaborate closely with U.S.-based and offshore team members to coordinate workflows, manage priorities, and ensure high-quality deliverables. Review work prepared by associates and offshore accounting professionals, escalating technical questions as needed and providing clear, constructive feedback. Support client onboarding, accounting clean-up, new-location and acquisition transitions, and process improvements across multi-unit and multi-entity organizations. Work effectively with restaurant accounting systems, including Restaurant365, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Online, point-of-sale systems, payroll, and accounts payable platforms.
