The Vice President partners closely with the Consolidations team, FP&A, Investor Relations, and internal and external legal counsel to oversee the preparation of 10-Qs, 10-Ks, 8-Ks, earnings presentations, and the annual proxy statement. The Vice President serves on the firm’s Disclosure Committee and prepares materials for the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors, serving as a key liaison between the accounting function and senior leadership and the Board. The Vice President is responsible for evaluating new and proposed U.S. GAAP and SEC pronouncements to assess the impact on Carlyle’s public disclosures and periodically reviewing disclosures across the firm (including the ’40 Act funds and the private funds) to ensure that disclosures are consistent across the firm. The Vice President also leads the team’s efforts to leverage technology and artificial intelligence to modernize the reporting process and drives continuous improvement in the efficiency and quality of the firm’s public disclosures.
