As a Senior Accountant on our Client Accounting & Advisory Services team, you will play a key role in developing relationships and contributing to the continued success of our clients by supporting their accounting functions. You will work with a variety of clients across multiple industries including manufacturing, services, construction, real estate, not-for-profit, and government. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow your career and expand your expertise through the diverse challenges and opportunities presented by each client. A supportive team environment within Redpath and Company, a firm of CPAs and advisors. Direct collaboration with client owners, project managers, and internal team members. Responsibilities: Maintain accounting records for multiple clients and industries, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and timely. Process day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll entries, cash receipts, and cash disbursements. Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules as part of the month-end and year-end close process. Complete account reconciliations, including bank accounts, credit cards, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and accrued liabilities. Research discrepancies, identify resolving entries, and assist with correcting accounting issues. Assist with sales tax filings, Forms 1099, audit requests, and year-end reporting requirements. Communicate with clients to obtain information needed to complete accounting and reporting activities. Support accounting system implementations, data cleanup efforts, and process improvement initiatives. Participate in special projects and other client service activities as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. 3+ years of accounting experience or equivalent experience Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and GAAP. Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a client-service environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software applications.
