Our Connected Tax Compliance team supports clients across a wide range of accounting and financial processes, helping them navigate complex requirements and ensure high-quality, efficient delivery. As an Accounting Manager , you will take ownership of a diverse portfolio of clients and projects, coordinate and support the team, and work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver high-quality accounting services. You will also collaborate with colleagues across different service lines, build strong client relationships and contribute to identifying new opportunities and bringing additional value to our clients. What you will be doing: As a Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Director in charge. Be involved in the financial management of clients. Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients. Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen. Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges. Assist in the management and delivering of large projects. Train, coach, and supervise staff. Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues. Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand. What we need from you: You hold a university degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. 5+ years of relevant work experience of accounting and tax compliance. ACCA - qualified or in progress is an advantage. Strong accounting knowledge, particularly in local GAAP; IFRS is an advantage. Very good knowledge of Romanian Accounting Standards and tax legislation. Prior supervisory experience. Excellent project management and presentation skills. Strong English language skills.
