Accountant, Corporate Accounting What You’ll Do At Elekta As an Accountant within Corporate Accounting, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery of financial information across the organization. Working in an international environment, you will support accounting and reporting activities, contribute to month-end close processes, and collaborate with stakeholders across finance and business functions. This role offers the opportunity to develop expertise in corporate accounting, project revenue recognition, and financial reporting while contributing to continuous process improvement. Responsibilities Perform daily accounting activities and ad hoc tasks in accordance with established processes and accounting policies. Recognize project revenue in line with Group accounting policies and applicable accounting standards, ensuring all recognition criteria are met and accurately recorded. Prepare journal entries, reconcile balance sheet and profit and loss accounts, and investigate variances and discrepancies. Support the preparation of VAT, Intrastat, and other tax-related reports, including associated accounting entries and reconciliations. Execute month-end closing activities for assigned entities and divisions in accordance with reporting timelines and closing schedules. Respond to queries from controllers and other internal stakeholders in a timely, professional, and service-oriented manner.
