Job Description Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounting Manager to lead the accounting operations within the Europe region. This role will oversee regional financial close activities (focus on development), statutory compliance, technical accounting matters, external audits, and the development of scalable accounting processes that support a capital-intensive, high-growth data centre infrastructure business. The successful candidate will partner closely with Portfolio Management/Investments, Tax, Treasury, FP&A, Construction, and other business leaders to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance while supporting strategic growth across the EMEA portfolio. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting & Close Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes for all current investment entities Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS. Oversee account reconciliations, journal entries, intercompany transactions (inclusive of interest free and interest-bearing loans), and balance sheet reviews. Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies. Drive standardization, efficiency, and automation of accounting processes across the region through use of AI and other technology resources as available Third-Party Provider Oversight & Governance Manage relationships with third-party accounting firms, shared service providers, and outsourced finance partners supporting operations. Review accounting deliverables prepared by external providers, including month-end close activities, financial statements, statutory filings, and account reconciliations. Drive accountability and continuous improvement across outsourced service providers.
