Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, you will assist with the preparation of month-end journals and reconciliations across various areas, including banking, revenue, receivables and other financial statement line items as required. You will also assist with other month-end and quarterly tasks, including the preparation of disclosure packages and analytics. Why join the team? This role offers exposure beyond core accounting, partnering with teams such as Business Intelligence and other finance teams, while contributing to process improvements, automation and smarter ways of working. Day-to-day accountabilities: Preparation of timely and accurate journal entries and reconciliations. Assistance with preparation of supplementary monthly and quarterly close deliverables. Assistance with periodic internal and external audit requirements. Assistance with ad hoc financial requests as required. Adherence to internal control (SOX) requirements, including maintenance of critical reports and spreadsheets. To read more about the role please click here to view job description . This is a 12-month fixed-term position located at our Surry Hills, Sydney Campus. Who you are A Bachelor of Accounting or a similar qualification. Experience in finance month-end close processes. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently. Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills. Strong problem-solving skills. Integrity and strong business ethics.
