The role We currently have one 24-month fixed term contract, full time opportunity (with the possibility of extension and/or permanency) for a Finance Officer . As our Finance Officer , you will be at the heart of keeping GESB running smoothly behind the scenes. From processing payments and supporting payroll to preparing journals and helping maintain accurate financial records, you'll play a key role in ensuring our financial operations are efficient, compliant, and running like clockwork. No two days are the same, with opportunities to work across a variety of finance functions, collaborate with stakeholders across the business, and contribute to exciting improvement initiatives, including the implementation of a new ERP system. We're looking for someone who loves being organised, has a keen eye for detail, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work. With strong administrative and financial processing skills, a collaborative approach, and a passion for continuous improvement, you'll thrive in a supportive team environment where your ideas and contributions will make a real impact.
