As a Senior Accountant in Traditional Tax at Abacus! you are responsible for managing complex tax engagements for high-wealth business owners across a variety of industries. This role oversees the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns, ensures compliance with regulations, and provides strategic tax planning support. This position participates directly in client meetings to present and deliver completed returns. This role strengthens client relationships, ensures high-quality deliverables, and contributes to the overall success of the Traditional Tax department. Essential Functions: Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns. Manage tax engagements from planning through completion, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Supervise, mentor, and review the work of Staff Accountants and Interns.
