The Role Mach Energetics is seeking an Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting activities across the organization. This role will work closely with the Finance Director and broader operations team to maintain accurate financial records, support internal reporting, and assist with accounting processes that enable efficient business operations. Key Responsibilities Maintain and enter financial data within QuickBooks and internal accounting systems. Support accounts payable processes including invoice review, coding, and vendor coordination. Assist with account reconciliations, expense reporting, and transaction verification. Prepare and maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation. Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting activities. Assist with journal entries and financial data reviews under the guidance of the Finance Director. Track project costs, labor charges, and program-related financial activity. Generate reports and financial summaries for leadership and program teams. Review accounting data for discrepancies or inconsistencies and escalate issues as needed. Support budget preparation, forecasting activities, and internal financial analysis. Assist with audit preparation and collection of supporting financial documentation. Maintain spreadsheets, tracking systems, and finance-related administrative tools. Provide operational and administrative support to the finance organization as needed. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
