Job Description Position Overview The Manager, Financial Reporting is responsible for overseeing key aspects of the Company's financial reporting function, including the preparation and review of complex quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements, footnote disclosures, and related financial analyses for Invenergy and its affiliated entities. This role leads and develops members of the Financial Reporting team, fosters a high-performance culture, and ensures the team has the capabilities and resources necessary to support the Company's evolving reporting requirements and strategic objectives. The Manager, Financial Reporting plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and other applicable reporting requirements while driving continuous improvement initiatives related to financial reporting processes, controls, and systems. This position partners closely with Technical Accounting, Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Project Accounting, and other cross-functional teams to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of financial information. The role serves as a key liaison with external auditors and is responsible for recruiting, developing, coaching, and retaining top talent within the Financial Reporting organization. Invenergy follows a hybrid schedule, working in office Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays. Responsibilities Lead, coach, develop, and inspire Financial Reporting team members through effective performance management, mentoring, succession planning, training, and career development initiatives.
