As our global footprint continues to spread across the world, we are looking for Finance/Accounting/Tax Interns to join our team in Northbrook, IL or Chicago, IL. This role is hybrid - 3 days a week on-site at the Northbrook or Chicago Office. Our Finance/Accounting Internship has assignments that span the areas of Financial Planning & Analysis, Tax, Accounting, Sourcing, Business Services (Credit & collections, Accounts Payable), and Business Division Support. As a Finance/Accounting intern you will work within one of the following teams: Financial Planning & Analysis Operational Finance Real Estate/Facilities Finance Sourcing Internal Audit Controllership GL Accounting Reporting/Consolidations Specific Responsibilities: Extract data from financial systems and perform financial analyses to explain variances in financial performance of various organization segments, or to develop a business case for an investment project, or to assess the impact of changes to a business process. Participate in the development of budgets, forecasts, or strategic plans. This participation would include managing complete and timely inputs, compiling the data, summarizing it for management review and investigating variation from expected outcomes. Prepare asset, liability and capital account entries. Assist in the preparation of financial reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information and trends.
