About this role Overview Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), a standalone division of BlackRock, is a leading global infrastructure investor focused on acquiring, owning, and operating large-scale assets across the energy, transport, digital infrastructure, and water and waste management sectors. GIP combines deep sector expertise, rigorous financial analysis, and operational capabilities to support the performance of its portfolio companies. Key Responsibilities: Support the quarterly equity valuation process for a diverse global infrastructure portfolio across energy, transport, digital infrastructure, water, and waste management sectors Prepare valuation analyses utilizing Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Market Multiple, and Precedent Transaction methodologies Assist in the development of materials for Valuation Committee meetings and senior management reporting Perform independent reviews of valuation assumptions, market inputs, operating performance metrics, and discount rates, including CAPM-based analyses Review and validate financial models to ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to valuation policies Partner closely with investment professionals, operational finance teams, fund finance teams, and portfolio company stakeholders to gather and assess key valuation inputs Maintain and enhance portfolio valuation databases and KPI reporting infrastructure Leverage technology platforms including Chronograph, Anaplan, Workiva (Wdesk), and Power BI to improve reporting, analytics, and valuation workflows Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives designed to increase efficiency, transparency, and analytical rigor across valuation activities Support strategic and ad hoc projects as required Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Financial Engineering or Accounting Minimum of 3-5 years of experience Comfortable with database usage, management, and administration Previous experience in building and reviewing valuation models with income and market approaches Knowledge & Skills: A positive attitude, high motivation and ability to maintain a culture that is based on teamwork, respect & integrity Resilient self-starter with ability to work independently Expertise with MS Excel and highly skilled with other MS office products including PowerPoint Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills with...
