Company: Job title: Finance Analyst, Global Accounting COE Location: Cleveland, OH, United States The Intercompany Analyst is a key member of the Intercompany team, supporting the analysis and reconciliation of intercompany transactions and account balances, assisting with month-end close activities, and contributing to ongoing process improvement efforts. This role works closely with stakeholders across multiple regions and functions, including Controllership, Shared Business Services (SBS), and Treasury, to help maintain accurate financial records and support efficient intercompany processes. The Intercompany Analyst is a key member of the Intercompany team, supporting the analysis and reconciliation of intercompany transactions and account balances, assisting with month-end close activities, and contributing to ongoing process improvement efforts. This role works closely with stakeholders across multiple regions and functions, including Controllership, Shared Business Services (SBS), and Treasury, to help maintain accurate financial records and support efficient intercompany processes. This role is not hybrid/remote and will be located at our Global Headquarters in Cleveland, OH. Because this role involves access to confidential financial information, the Company has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and to provide similar protections for its clients and potential investments. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS Intercompany Transaction Management: Assist with support of the intercompany workbench process which is used to account for intercompany transactions between North American legal entities (US, Canada, & Caribbean). This includes coordination with Controllership, AP, AR and other cross functional teams. Intercompany Statements and Netting: Maintain monthly intercompany statements for trade between The Sherwin-Williams Company (U.S.) & International Divisions. The intercompany statements detail all intercompany activity between The Sherwin-Williams Company (U.S.) and their foreign trading partners including invoices and payment applications. Analyst will monitor aging transactions and assist in resolving processing issues, exceptions, and any discrepancies. Additionally, Analyst will assist with the monthly intercompany netting process.
