Work you'll do As a Tax Consultant II on the M&A team, you will be responsible for: Support corporate and private equity buyers on tax due diligence for buy-side and sell-side transactions Analyze transaction structures and model tax implications for acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions Prepare due diligence reports and summarize findings, risks, and recommendations for C-suite and other executive stakeholders Conduct research on technical tax issues and apply findings to transaction planning and structuring Collaborate with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams to identify tax risks, evaluate opportunities, and support transaction execution A successful candidate would possess these skills: Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team Effective written and verbal communication skills Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product Ability to build and sustain professional relationships Ability to lead projects or workstreams Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor Ability to meet deadlines Ability to provide clear guidance to others The team Deloitte Tax LLP, Merger & Acquisition (M&A) professionals provide corporate and private equity buyers with a broad continuum of advisory services to support mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, investment and financing...
