What it Means to Work for EisnerAmper: You will get to be part of one of the largest and fastest growing accounting and advisory firms in the industry You will have the flexibility to manage your days in support of our commitment to work/life balance You will join a culture that has received multiple top “Places to Work” awards We believe that great work is accomplished when cultures, ideas and experiences come together to create new solutions We understand that embracing our differences is what unites us as a team and strengthens our foundation Showing up authentically is how we, both as professionals and a Firm, find inspiration to do our best work What work you'll be responsible for: Review of international tax compliance forms and working with a dedicated international tax team (926, 1120-F, 5471, 8288, 8621, 8858, 8991, 8892, 8893, 8865, K-2/K-3, 5472, 8832, 1042/1042-S, etc. ) Prepare analysis and computations for CFCs,Subpart F, GILT/NCTI, FDII/FDDEI, PFIC, PTEP, and FTC, including §962 elections and treaty-based positions, sourcing of income, 987 calculations, FIRPTA, branch returns Collaborate with the Financial Services Tax group on cross-border matters for Asset Management Clients Develop tax planning opportunities arising from inbound and outbound cross-border transactions and activities Manage day-to-day interactions with clients and ensure the completion of both tax compliance and advisory projects Supervise and train staff Share relevant tax thought leadership and draft tax alerts Stay current with Tax Reform and comprehend the new regulations and rulings Basic qualifications: 10+ years of experience in international tax compliance and/or planning CPA, JD, or EA Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university Experience reviewing Forms 1040 and 1040-NR that typically include foreign filing attachments and pass-through K-1/K-3 reporting 5+ years of supervisory experience Preferred Qualifications: Experience using OIT,...
