Managing information and people related to sales tax compliance Interacting with clients and managing staff Corresponding with state and local tax authorities to resolve client issues Managing registrations and business licenses for clients Interacting with other state and local tax professionals as well as other professionals at the firm Basic Qualifications 2+ years experience with sales tax compliance Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent field Excellent communication and organization skills Experience with sales tax preparation software such as Vertex or Alteryx Understanding of sales tax issues, including exemption certificate management, tax accruals and reserves, journal entries and use tax issue. Preferred/Desired Qualifications: CMI (sales tax) designation a plus CPA EisnerAmper is proud to be a merit-based employer.
