Your Role at Baxter: This role sits within Baxter's Corporate Finance organization and supports the company's SEC reporting and external financial reporting responsibilities. The team partners closely with Accounting, Consolidations, Technical Accounting, Investor Relations, Treasury, Legal, Tax, and executive leadership to help ensure the accuracy and completeness of Baxter's quarterly and annual filings. Team members gain broad exposure to the company's financial performance, major business initiatives, and regulatory reporting requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a strong foundation in SEC reporting, technical accounting, and corporate finance within a large public company environment. The team works closely with Baxter's broader Controllership organization, creating opportunities to gain exposure beyond traditional SEC reporting activities. In addition to supporting Forms 10-K, 10-Q, earnings materials, and SEC filings, this individual will interact regularly with teams responsible for consolidations, technical accounting, stock compensation, pension accounting, business transactions, and special projects. The environment is highly collaborative, and the team places a strong emphasis on training, development, and mentorship. New hires are given structured onboarding, are encouraged to ask questions, and are gradually given additional responsibilities as they become comfortable with the role and the reporting cycle. This is a hybrid position based out of Deerfield, IL.
