Job Summary The Director, xScale Direct Tax Compliance will lead the global direct tax compliance function for the xScale joint ventures. This role is responsible for all direct tax compliance, tax reporting, and related governance activities across the xScale platform, currently comprising eight global joint ventures and numerous legal entities, with continued expansion expected through new JV formations and acquisitions. The role requires a highly experienced tax professional with deep expertise in ASC 740 / US GAAP tax accounting and related income tax provision processes, as well as extensive experience managing multinational tax compliance and statutory reporting obligations. The successful candidate will lead a team of tax professionals and oversee external advisors, drive process improvement and automation initiatives, and serve as the primary tax reporting leader for xScale's rapidly growing global business. This position will partner closely with xScale Controllership, Treasury, Legal, FP&A, and M&A teams as well as external tax advisors and auditors to ensure accurate and timely tax compliance and reporting across all xScale entities.
