The Small Business Administration (SBA), Office of Inspector General (OIG) is seeking a dedicated professional to join the Audit Disaster Assistance Programs Group within the Audits Division. SBA OIG fosters a collaborative work environment that values integrity, accountability, open communication, and professional excellence while promoting efficiency and effectiveness in SBA programs and operations. Duties: This position serves as a Supervisory Auditor and is responsible for the following: Managing all aspects of multiple engagements, including planning, design, data collection and analysis, message development, final report preparation, and audit follow-up. Proactively identifying and resolving issues that affect project goals, schedules, and deliverables. Monitoring and improving processes and procedures to address evolving requirements, enhance efficiency, and respond to changes and constraints. Providing audit teams with guidance on the Audits Division's strategic direction and participating in the development of the strategic agenda for the Assistant Inspector General (AIG) for Audits. Analyzing audit results to identify patterns and trends and recommending changes to agency policies and procedures to strengthen program integrity. Communicating audit results and project progress effectively to management and ensuring the timely completion of audit engagements. Developing well-researched performance audit proposals that identify new areas for inclusion in the audit work plan.
