Join Deloitte’s Multistate Tax Services (MTS) practice as a Data and Tech Manager focused on helping clients identify and implement tax technology solutions that support multistate tax needs. In this role, you will work directly with clients and engagement leaders to deliver technology-enabled solutions across consulting and compliance environments. You will collaborate with MTS specialists nationwide and help drive innovation, scalability, and growth across the practice. This role is designed for an experienced tax technology professional who can combine client service, project delivery, and team leadership. Recruiting for this role ends on June 30th, 2026 Work you'll do As a Data and Tech Manager - Multistate on the Multistate Tax Services team, you will be responsible for… Leading business development efforts for state and local tax technology offerings, including solution development, proposal drafting, and client presentations Managing the delivery of multistate tax technology projects, with a focus on emerging technologies and scalable data-driven solutions Advising clients on state and local tax technology matters across consulting and compliance engagements Identifying client needs and connecting them to Deloitte’s broader services, capabilities, and cross-functional resources Leading client relationships, supervising project execution, and coaching engagement team members The team Deloitte’s Multistate Tax Services (MTS) group is one of the largest State and Local Tax practices in the United States, with more than 1,000 professionals nationwide. The team includes tax specialists, former state tax auditors and administrators, accounting professionals, and technology practitioners with experience across all 50 states. MTS serves clients across areas including state income and franchise tax, indirect tax, credits and incentives, sales and use tax outsourcing, excise tax, property tax, state strategic tax review, and state tax controversy.
