Job Description Summary: Bookkeeper Job Description: Focus Partners is seeking a Bookkeeper with experience in the entertainment business management industry to join our team of dedicated professionals. You will be working with a wide range of clients – from producers and touring artists to icons in film and television. The primary responsibility of this role is client accounting and transactions processing. This position operates on a hybrid schedule out of our Calabasas, CA office. Primary Responsibilities Manage day to day multiple client activities including processing accounts receivable and accounts payable Perform credit card and bank reconciliations Manage multiple monthly, quarterly and annual processes Prepare/review 1099 reports Prepare journal entries Other projects and duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma required. 3+ years of experience working within the entertainment business management industry. 3+ years of experience with AgilLink software required. 3+ years experience with Excel. Solid organizational skills with great attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Self-directed, ability to handle new tasks with little direction. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to effectively work in a client focused team environment, building a spirit of cooperation, and sharing knowledge and skills with others in the group. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. This position is a non-exempt position. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $80,000 –$90,000 base salary compensation range. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, subject matter expertise , geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant’s skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k).
