Summary: The Accounting Intern will gain experience and learn essential industry skills by assisting our team with accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, and other projects for clients. Responsibilities: Help prepare invoice and expense reports Analyze financial data Perform research for budgeting and financial forecasting Check financial documents and journal entries for accuracy Qualifications: Accounting and Finance students as well as students with another relevant concentration who have a strong interest in pursuing a public accounting career Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel Interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication The ability to be discreet when handling sensitive financial information A willingness to learn Detail-oriented Analytical skills Working Conditions: Ability to sit and use computers for extended periods of time Ability to provide own transportation for traveling to client assignments This position starts in January and ends in March Please upload an unofficial copy of your transcript when submitting your application.
