Job Summary: SmithRx is looking for an exceptional Staff Accountant to join our growing Finance team. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting, this role will be an essential operational owner within our day-to-day accounting functions. You will take ownership of key operational functions including corporate tax compliance, cash reconciliations, corporate card management, and member reimbursements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and excited to drive core accounting workflows to execution. What you will do: Indirect Tax Filing: Prepare indirect tax filings accurately and timely. State Registration Filings : Work with the company’s filing agent to ensure various state reports are filed accurately and timely.
