An Audit S upervisor leads key aspects of larger, more complex engagements and serves as the in-charge professional. They demonstrate strong command of technical accounting guidance under GAAP and SEC frameworks, and they apply a solid understanding of generally accepted auditing standards, as well as advanced audit procedures and techniques for complex financial statement areas. An Audit S upervisor will develop and enhance client relationships through strong communication and project management skills. They will execute engagement planning activities which include gathering information for time budgets, coordinating all planning activities on engagements with the supervision and guidance from more experienced staff, and designing a risk based audit approach.
