THE ROLE As a Senior Accountant supporting our Latin America business, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial reporting across a dynamic and fast-paced international environment. This position partners closely with regional finance teams to oversee month-end close activities, reconcile complex financial data, and support corporate reporting while ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SOX requirements. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment and is flexible to work extended hours or occasional weekends during peak periods, including month-end close. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO Ensure Latin America financial reporting complies with US GAAP, SOX requirements, and internal accounting policies. Review and reconcile event P&Ls, show settlements, and other financial reports to ensure completeness and accuracy. Partner with local finance teams and LATAM accounting teams to support monthly corporate reporting, including balance sheet and income statement reconciliations between third-party systems and corporate financial records. Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts, researching and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
