For our business, for clients, and for you Role: Senior Consultant - Corporate Solutions- Accounting & Tax Role Location: Lisbon Employment Type: Full time permanent Role summary: As a Senior Consultant within our Corporate Solutions team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting, financial reporting and tax compliance services to a diverse portfolio of local and international clients. You will work closely with clients, support junior team members and contribute to the continued growth of Apex Group's Corporate Solutions business in Portugal. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accounting professional looking to broaden their exposure within a global organisation while developing their technical and client management skills. Key Responsibilities: Manage the accounting and bookkeeping activities for a portfolio of Portuguese and international clients. Review accounting records and ensure compliance with Portuguese GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports. Prepare and review statutory financial statements. Prepare and submit VAT, Corporate Income Tax (IRC), IES and other regulatory filings. Act as a Certified Accountant (Contabilista Certificado), including the review, signing and submission of financial statements, tax returns and other statutory obligations where required. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and external stakeholders.
