Job Title: Controller Job Description Reporting into the Accounting Manager EMEA, the Specialist Accounting is responsible for the delivery of a quality and timely closing of each period end (7-day month end close) for the EMEA region in accordance with IFRS &/ US GAAP requirements. A significant focus of the role is to ensure month end, quarter-end and year-end processes are executed to a high degree of accuracy meeting tight reporting deadlines. You would be also responsible to ensure clean a balance sheet on a monthly basis for UK and Ireland countries. During month end, you will be working closely with the FP&A, AP, GLSS and Intercompany teams, ensuring P&L variances are sufficiently satisfied for statutory accounting purposes. You would also continuously drive improvements to internal processes and controls primarily within the EMEA Controller team but within the wider EMEA group, particularly around SOX controls which impacts the Controller team. A further focus area is to build a good working relationship with key stakeholders in the business units, in order to improve overall knowledge, thereby increasing the level of understanding and questioning. The role also provides support to the Accounting Manager EMEA & Director Accounting EMEA during internal & external audit fieldwork, and the subsequent resolution of any audit issues. It should be noted that tight reporting deadlines would often require a degree of flexibility regarding working hours, particularly around month end, quarter end and year-end. We're Concentrix.
