The Position We are seeking a senior, experienced and qualified finance professional who has a proven track record in complex IFRS accounting matters in a global setting as preparer. The position is based at Corporate Head Office in Basel, Switzerland, within Group Accounting and External Reporting. On-site working is a pre-requisite. The Opportunity Dedicated senior resource on IFRS accounting and related impact assessments in complex cross-functional setup on transactions or projects related to mergers & acquisitions, alliances, partnering, financing, tax accounting, divestments and group-wide system implementation. Additionally, support the team to resolve complex technical accounting matters in alignment with IFRS and the Roche Group accounting manual Preparer role for the year-end and half-year external IFRS consolidated financial statements Lead and manage technical accounting operations for monthly closing and external reporting events Translate IFRS and other reporting standards into detailed, operational reporting specifications and update the Group accounting manual as necessary Facilitate internal financial training events at Roche together with other members of the team / network, as well as updating related training materials Ensure an effective internal control system Identify and implement process improvements on a timely basis Who you are You are someone who wants to influence your own development.
