We are looking for an experienced finance professional to join our team as Financial Reporting & Accounting Team Lead . In this role, you will combine strong accounting and reporting expertise with a passion for improving processes, strengthening governance, and creating transparency across financial reporting and controls. Working closely with the Finance and Business Performance Manager, you will act as a trusted sparring partner on accounting, reporting, audit, governance, and compliance matters. As the functional lead for our Controlling team, you will play a key role in strengthening the foundations of our Finance function and supporting its continued development. This role is based in Taastrup and requires on-site presence 4 days a week. As our business continues to evolve, we see significant opportunities to further strengthen processes, reporting structures, controls, and data quality. We are therefore looking for someone who enjoys creating structure, establishing clarity, and driving sustainable improvements. Someone who is naturally curious, enjoys understanding what lies behind the numbers, and is motivated by building stronger foundations for the future rather than simply maintaining the status quo. A role with influence, but without people management As Financial Reporting & Accounting Lead, you will serve as the functional lead for our Controlling team. The position offers substantial operational responsibility and influence, with accountability for driving and coordinating key finance processes, while formal people management remains with the Finance and Business Performance Manager. You will act as the technical expert on accounting, reporting, audit, compliance, and financial controls, providing professional guidance and ensuring high standards, consistency, and strong governance across the Finance function. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine deep technical expertise with meaningful influence on how Finance operates and evolves. What you will be doing Acting as the functional lead and subject matter expert for accounting, reporting, and financial control activities. Coordinating month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
