About the role Lead financial accounting and reporting for St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney, overseeing month-end/year-end close, financial statements, cash flow, fixed assets, leases, Trust Funds and statutory reporting. Provide senior technical accounting leadership across complex areas including revenue, grants, capital works, leases, provisions and other significant accounting matters, ensuring sound judgement and compliance. Strengthen financial governance, controls and risk management, maintaining GL integrity, reconciliations, delegations, audit readiness and timely escalation of material financial risks. Lead audit and compliance activities, coordinating internal and external audits, resolving findings and ensuring all statutory and NSW Health reporting obligations are met. Lead and develop the financial accounting team while driving continuous improvement across systems, processes, reporting and stakeholder relationships to strengthen financial performance and control.
