About this team:  Auditing is a highly complex process, and the role of auditors as a vital link in the financial reporting chain has never been more important. Deloitte’s Audit team combines a strong business mindset with deep technical expertise and extensive industry experience to support clients across accounting, financial reporting, governance, compliance, and risk advisory. Based in Wellington, you will be joining well-established, energetic, and multicultural teams, working collaboratively to deliver high-quality audit outcomes while making an impact that matters. Job Description Your typical day will include: Leading and overseeing day-to-day operations of audit engagements Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge of regulatory and statutory requirements and compliance standards Preparing business reports and management letters for clients, highlighting key issues and recommendations Managing audit teams, including coaching and mentoring junior staff Building and maintaining strong client relationships Leading audit engagements and ensuring high-quality delivery Presenting audit findings and recommendations to senior client management Reviewing reports, memoranda, and other deliverables Applying analytical thinking and problem-solving to address complex audit and risk issues Collaborating across teams to deliver exceptional client service Qualifications Enough about us, let’s talk about you.
