Lead the Finance Partnering team supporting Business Lending (BL) within Business and Private Banking. As a Head of, you will join the Business and Private Banking Finance team that’s focused on moving with speed. In this Head of role, you will: Translate the strategy of the Business Lending business into a functionally effective plan. Provide the overall direction to the BL leadership team to ensure development and delivery of objectives and initiatives within the strategic parameters. Support the BL Executives in partnership with the CFO, to grow the business, align with our strategic ambition and ensure transformation / simplification benefits are achieved in a sustainable and coordinated manner. Identify financial and non-financial performance trends through critical review and analysis and develop and recommend strategies to improve business performance. Collaborate to ensure simplification by ensuring all standard reporting and financial control activities are delivered in a one-way same way approach across Finance. Collaborate with peers to identify and leverage best practice to drive effectiveness uplift across the Finance partner team. Lead, coach and develop a diverse team, creating and fostering a feedback culture and a psychologically safe environment, track results, and provide clear follow-up and feedback. What you will bring Demonstrated customer ‘obsession’. Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, likely developed at a strategy consulting firm, in-house strategy team or investment bank (and/or similar related experience).
