About the role: We're looking for a talented Manager to join our Private Client Tax Advisory team, partnering with clients and senior leaders to provide expert advice on a variety of taxation matters in the Private Client’s, including income tax, capital gains tax, structuring, and tax controversy. This is an opportunity to make a real impact while working on complex and rewarding client engagements. Key Responsibilities Identify, research and resolve all complex tax issues. Provide advice on complex taxation matters including M&A, structuring, tax planning and ATO disputes. Prepares formally written tax advice, memorandums and reasonably arguable position papers. Advises clients on practical and commercial issues and develops solutions which genuinely add value to the client's business. Share knowledge as a subject matter expert on best practices and industry market trends to actively increase the overall knowledge of the team. Applies tax technical knowledge to provide advice on client activity. Prepares complex deferred tax calculations for large groups, consolidated groups, and MEC groups. Reviews complex income tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships and trusts. Review work papers and ensure appropriate evidence is documented.
