We are looking for an experienced Manager or Associate Director to join our Tauranga based team. You will be an experienced tax professional wanting to take the next step in your career with a leading brand. As a Manager / Associate Director, you will enjoy leading others and supporting them to make an impact that matters. You will set the direction to deliver exceptional client service. You will demonstrate strong tax technical skills and a hands-on approach to ensure our practice development, with the opportunity to make a real contribution to the success of our Tauranga and national team.  You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients ranging in size and covering a broad range of SME and corporate tax issues. Job Description The impact you'll make: You will be helping clients mitigate risk, meet compliance obligations and statutory deadlines and realise business goals. Your typical day may include: Advising on a wide range of business tax matters from compliance to planning Preparing /reviewing income tax provisions for the purpose of reporting in financial statements Assisting clients in the resolution of tax disputes.  Applying knowledge of current and pending tax legislation. Delivering exceptional client service; maximising results and driving high performance from people while fostering collaboration. Acting as a role model and recognising others for the impact they make. Developing high-performing people and team through challenging and meaningful opportunities. Influencing clients, teams, and individuals positively, leading by example and establishing confident relationships. Improving work efficiency, effectiveness and client service by using common technology tools. Qualifications Your expertise: Bring your broad NZ Tax knowledge and see what impact you can make. You'll also have: 5+ years+ work experience in a tax compliance and advisory environment. A professional qualification in accounting.
